Welcome Message
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the 2026 IEEE 16th International Conference on “Nanomaterials: Applications & Properties” (IEEE NAP-2026), which will be held September 6 to 11, 2026, at the Avala Hotel in Budva, Montenegro.
The conference is jointly organized by the IEEE Nanotechnology Council and the Montenegrin Science Promotion Foundation, with technical contributions from Sumy State University, the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Wolfgang Pauli Institute Vienna, and the University of Latvia.
IEEE NAP continues its focus on advances in nanoscale materials and their applications. The technical program emphasizes interdisciplinary research aimed at understanding and leveraging the unique physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials for emerging technologies, including low power and quantum nanoelectronics, edge computing, biomedical applications, renewable energy systems, industrial applications, and environmental technologies.
The conference provides an international forum for researchers, engineers, educators, and industry professionals to present recent results, exchange ideas, and establish new collaborations. Participants from academia, industry, and research institutions worldwide, including senior scientists, early career researchers, and graduate students, are invited to contribute.
Budva is located along the Adriatic stretch of the Mediterranean coast known as the Budva Riviera, renowned for its dramatic shoreline, sandy beaches, and clear waters. The historic Old Town, combined with panoramic sea views and vibrant coastal culture, creates an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and international collaboration.
Conference participants will experience the hospitality and high service standards of the host venue. Avala Resort & Villas offers a beachfront location with direct access to the Adriatic Sea, panoramic views, conference facilities, spa and wellness services, multiple pools, and convenient walking access to Budva’s Old Town and cultural landmarks. The venue combines modern comfort with the distinctive character of the Montenegrin coast, providing a professional and relaxed environment for the conference.
We look forward to welcoming you to Budva for a productive week of scientific exchange, networking, and professional interaction, set against one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive coastal landscapes.
Sincerely,
Valentine Novosad, Goran Karapetrov, Alexander Pogrebnjak, and Jovan Mirković
